Introduction
Throughout college you learn all these little things to do that will create a successful classroom. Over the four years, you learn so much that it can be overwhelming and difficult to remember every little thing that you wanted to use in your classroom.
Currently, we are feeling overwhelmed as to how in the world we are going to remember all these wonderful, little things to use in our classrooms. Even though we are only in our junior year of college, we already feel like we are forgetting important things for our future classrooms. As a result, we wanted to create this website for current teachers who can't remember everything their college professors said, but want to improve their own teaching methods.
On this site, one will be able to learn more about high and low cognitive demand tasks. Throughout the site there is information including definitions, examples, and ways to modify current tasks within your classroom.
As teachers, it is important to teach effectively by challenging students on a daily basis. This site is maintained by three future teachers who recognize the importance of using high cognitive demand tasks. Together, we hope this site is beneficial as well as informative to help implicate new teaching strategies within your classroom.
